Comfort Drops
The simplest treatment is to use comfort drops. These are artificial tear drops which can be used to make the eye more comfortable as and when they become irritated. However, these only ease the discomfort – they do not prevent it from coming back.
Hot Compresses
Using an EyeBag, or a hot towel, will open the glands which produce the tears and therefore allow more tears through to the eye. They should not be hot enough to hurt, and must be left on for at least 10 minutes. This must be done every day.
Eyelid Cleaning
Using BlephaClean, you can clean the eyelids to remove Blepharitis and anything else that may be causing eye irritation.
Firstly, wash your hands and remove contact lenses if you wear them. Tear open the sachet and wrap the wipe around your index finger. Close your eye and use the wipe to clean the eyelid and base of your eyelashes in small, circular movements. Throw away the wipe after one use.
