Marc has been providing eyecare to patients in Penarth since 1994, and spends most of his time at the practice.
Since March 2020, his duties have included supporting Eye Casualty as an Independent Prescriber, seeing emergency appointments at Osmond Drake to ease the pressure on the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to the present day. The scheme has proved highly successful and there are plans to roll it out across Wales.
Marc has extensive experience fitting specialist contact lenses, including semi-scleral and scleral lenses, myopia management lenses, and lenses for keratoconic patients.
Marc is also employed as a Specialist Optometrist at The University Hospital of Wales, furthering his knowledge of managing eye disease.
