The majority of wearers are throwing their lenses in the bin and studies have shown that there are a significant percentage of people who flush contact lenses down the toilet as a means of disposal. Plastic pollution has become a real problem and weighs heavy on our collective conscious, which is why now, at Osmond Drake we have introduced a new way to dispose of your old unwanted contact lenses and blister/foil packaging.
In our reception area you will find a contact lens recycling bin, all you have to do is save up your contact lens waste at home and then the next time you are in the area just drop the waste in our bin. It’s a quick and easy way to contribute towards helping cut down plastic pollution.
